This game is intended for beginners. It starts off pretty easy and then reaches a level that should be comfortably difficult around the second half of the game with a TON of skips included for more advanced players if they want to go FAST. The story is set in the same universe as More Dangerous Toys.

This is an interesting production. It clearly has effort put into it and has solid production but to some extent I feel like it falls short of what it ended to do. However, while doing so it achieves enough to still be a very good game worth playing.

As a gimmick needle game, its great - the platforming is mostly well balanced and there's plenty of neat gimmicks to learn and interact with and they're fairly well explored. The aesthetics are very clean and polished and the extras (the light story elements and bonus sequences) were entertaining.

The criticism then is that as an adventure game it really falls short. There's no feeling of journeying through an area - every transition is just portal from room to room. The room visuals while well polished (between Wookie's varied backgrounds and his technically excellent seamless blocks) don't feel very lifelike and there's no real change in environment room to room. Also, the skips largely bypass gimmicks in favor of a needle focus and finally, the boss fights are not very engaging. These are not huge points but for me, at any rate, they really hurt the adventure feel.

Don't get me wrong though - this is still a great game and definitely recommended to anyone looking for some neat platforming variety, it just feels like a step backwards from his previous production in some regards.

Decently long needle/gimmick fangame, where each stage uses a specific gimmick, or set of gimmicks. These gimmicks are usually simplistic (Some of them being too simplistic, to the point where they are sub-utilized), but fit nicely with the game's straight platforming sections, resulting in some fun, laid-back platforming. There are plenty of skips (Apparently intended), many of which are easier than the normal way, which is...Weird, to say the least. There are also two kinda interesting bosses that involve gimmicks from the previous stages, one at the middle of the game and one at its end. None of their attacks comes directly from them, or seems to be under their control in any way, which makes them look nothing like bosses at all, but if you can look past that, they are fun. Visuals and musics are nice. There's also a little story of sorts, although there's not much to it.
It's simple, but it's fun. Would recommend.

A cute little gimmick needle game, but not really anything more. The gimmicks are fairly simple, although there's a single complicated one. With one exception, the gimmicks stay fairly basic the whole way through, but I felt like they were used better in the second half. The first half is a forgettable but decent needle game, but the second half has some fun cycle platforming that makes the game worth playing.

The bosses are creative, using the gimmicks from all the preceding stages to create an atypically involved boss fight. However, they are quite lacking in attacks and end up feeling a bit lacking. The second boss is cool at first, but quickly loses its luster as it's all just more of the same.

As Kurath has said, this game feels like quite the failure in terms of "adventure", the areas are super disjointed, and the story might as well not exist. The bosses are just plopped in, without even warranting a mention from the protagonist. While the game is a serviceable needle game, I feel like it doesn't really feel like the adventure game it claims to be.

Overall, certainly worth playing for fans of gimmick needle, particularly cycles. There's some really cool stuff with the lasers and the flipping spikes. The momentum kid is the one novel gimmick, and while maybe controversial, I thought it was awesome. The game is a bit of a let down if you're expecting an adventure, but otherwise it's a recommendation, though not one without caveats.

It's a totally fine game but to me this game feels like a fangame equivalent of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, it's too simple for an experienced player to get a lot out of it, and as a result also feels like it wouldn't be great for beginner because it's just not that captivating. There were two gimmicks, the rocket kid and final stage gimmicks, which were actually challenging, but beyond that it was kinda just junk food, not bad but I doubt I'll remember any of it in the future.

A bit more difficult than you intended if its meant for beginners. Regardless, it's a good fangame. I enjoyed it though some of the levels' platforming was frustrating
