Each theme lasts for 20 floors for a total of 5 themes. The difficulty doesn't ever rise to anything substantial; probably the hardest thing in it is the occasional gate jump. I do like the pathing of some stages, which even made me think at points, but it does get dull. 40 minutes of this feels overkill even for a beginner. I think a beginner should play something more short and to the point, or if they must do a long-form game, something with more variety + maybe gimmicks

Cleared with 108 deaths, just over 20 minutes. GG
It's needle that uses gimmicks like jump refresh, etc. There is one small basic avoidance section, which I found the hardest part... guess I just suck at avoidance LOL
Was fun ! ! Music is also nice

Short beginner game focused on vines. Plays well and you can easily clear it within about 8 minutes.

A game made as practice. There's only two screens of basic needle and the creator said they designed it at a difficulty someone could complete with no prior needle game experience. Basically, it's not worth downloading.

A nicely made needle game where everything has a "drawn" aesthetic. There are a couple basic gimmicks introduced in each new stage, including crumbling blocks, high-jump blocks, laser beams, etc. and also bosses in between, which are genuinely satisfying to play (especially the last one). It's a relatively short play; I was able to do it in just under 35 minutes. It should be noted that lower-end computers might struggle with the graphics and cause minor lag.
Overall, I'd recommend it!
