The level design is pretty awful and repetitive. It doesn't even make sense as a TAS game, like, why would you repeat jumps for a player using savestates? That'd be like reusing segments. The boss is pretty cool though and is effective as a TAS boss (the not glitchy versions at least). You can cheese the one in the middle with a glitch strat though.

There is a reason for the name. To this day, nobody has cleared the final boss without TAS.

a pretty hard needle game indeed, but it's actually pretty fun if you're up to grind it. recommended for skilled players.

Garbage old game, not even interesting as a TAS. Past screen 1 there was really nothing interesting. The aligns for screen 2 save 2 are terrible, you can't do the bonk corner and have the good align for the ledge and corner after, so you either have to do those bad align or do an awkward cancel through the corner. Screen 3 save 2 is absolutely terrible and the worst save in the game and one of the worst I've ever played. The last minispike jump in particular is horrible. Screen 4 save 1 with the platforms is really bad, but you can find strats for it that work somewhat okay. Overall the game really isn't worth your time. I wanted to clear it because it's a classic, but it has very little redeeming qualities.
