The main focus of this game was making an avoidance for beginners, a task that I find quite challenging. In my opinion it's difficult to make easy attacks without turning the avoidance into something completely trivial, but I think I made a good job balancing these two factors.

I love the artistic direction in this game. The avoidance is just beautiful, my only gripe with it is that the intro is a bit too boring. I am just a little confused by the use of the default spike sprites in a game like this.

A few screens of needle followed by an avoidance. The platforming's difficulty is of the sort that would certainly challenge a newcomer without overwhelming him at all, which probably was the point, I guess. The avoidance features a handful of interesting attacks, with easy RNG attacks and patterns that can be avoided on your first attempt, but I feel the need to be a bit nitpicky and say that, since it is a beginner-oriented avoidance, it'd probably be better to make something shorter, with slightly more challenging, but slower attacks, as I believe that some of its attacks could be complicated to learn while some pose no threat at all (I.e., the balance feels off), and longer fights are probably demotivating from a beginner viewpoint. Still, somewhat experienced players probably won't see any issue with this game, and should be able to enjoy the full experience properly. The visuals are really nice, and so are the musics. The death sound sound isn't much of a bother either, and I like how nicely animated is the fairy that The Kid is trying to chase.
I liked it quite a bit, even though I'm not certain if the maker accomplished what he set out to do in this game. Would recommend.

Though it's too short to be a huge achievement, I do believe Nogard struck gold with this little masterpiece. The needle, though simplistic and certainly not the star of the show, was nevertheless rather enjoyable and served as a nice prelude to the true purpose of the game: the avoidance.
Nogard's goal was to create a marriage between fun and simplicity within an avoidance that could then be palatable to beginners, something I believe he did excellently here. Though the avoidance is indeed fairly simple, there is a real sense of beauty and ease to it that made the whole experience quite lovable and soothing. There is some downtime in which you have little else to do but enjoy the visuals, the main culprit being the opening attack, but I took no real issue with that. The music and visuals were more than good enough to smooth out these less-than-eventful sections.
There is a great flow to this avoidance that other beginner avoidances fail to create. The journey from attack to attack doesn't feel disjointed or as if this were a cobbled-together battle, no siree. Everything feels smooth and natural, the ebb and flow of the fight matching the soothing energy of the music. When the energy of the music rises, so too does the energy of the fight (in this case literally, the first semi-tricky attack being a climb to the top). The last thirty seconds of the avoidance encapsulates this beautifully, with the rising tensions of the music being matched through an infinite-jump section that should have genuine beginners sweating until the music pulls back and the bullets go off in their own directions with no intentions of coming for you. Thus, you've beaten the game and will certainly feel better for having done so.
I loved this game despite its minute length and truly do think it's worth your time, especially since it takes up so little of it.

the needle was pretty fun, but the first attack of the fight was so boring i just had almost no motivation to play the game. The attacks also felt underwhelming and i felt like the attempt to make the game a beginner avoidance game made the attacks oversimplified, and they weren't that satisfying to dodge. the visuals were nice though
