Here's something to do if ur stuck on unfair bosses i made
Open the save file in notepad and just change the text to this:
-skip first boss
"room = Chapter1third;
playerSpawn.x = 55;
playerSpawn.y = 550.80;"
-skip second boss
"room = Chapter2a;

This game gives me big kill the guy vibes, and its a pretty interesting game however there are some big issues.

The main problem is the first boss, very unfair with some random deaths you can't see coming.
My second biggest issue might seem small but the death animation burns my eyes, too much flashing and bright stuff. Might wanna tone that down a bit
The traps arent all that interesting either, could've done without those
The needle was allright, but it does the job for an old style game.

The general feel of the game is very nostalgic though which kinda carries it into a semi decent ranking for me.

So far this game was pretty neat, it's kinda reminiscent of the 2012 era where everyone tried their best to make something as good and faithful as Kill the Guy as possible. The visuals look nice and the platforming was basic but fun. Unfortunately I wanted to stop once I got to the first boss.

The attacks aren't that bad but it's just so problematic because there are also these spikes that appear out of nowhere and instakill you if you're inside of them and the attacks can sometimes merge together giving you the possibility of dodging like 2-3 attacks while also having to deal with the falling cannonball thing and the little spikes that move left and right. My suggestion to fix this issue is by giving the player a bit more time to dodge each attack by having a small time window to take a break to get ready for the next attack, that way it doesn't rely on getting lucky or making some tight dodges. You could also just get rid of the disappearing and reappearing spikes entirely, it's a bit too unfair.

I see a lot of potential in a game like this and I would gladly like to continue if it wasn't for the first boss being so hard.
