Rating and difficulty don't include the guest stages. With those included, the difficulty would be around 65 and the rating around 7 because of one stage in particular.
A fairly beefy needle game containing mostly Jtool gimmicks, but with bounce blocks and parachutes to spice things up. There are 6 stages, a tower, and guest stages containing about three screens from each maker.
The 6 stages and tower are very, very good. The difficulty curve is smooth, the gameplay fun, the pathing creative but reasonable. This is one of the few times I would recommend that every player who even remotely enjoys needle should play.
The extra maker stages (I don't know if they're truly "extra" since the only way to get the "clear" text is to beat these) are hit or miss. Most of them are good; Ywave's, Ebb's, Masker's, and =D's stages (screens?) range from good to great. Kym's was decent, but felt quite awkward at times. I have almost nothing positive to say about Sparkshadow's, but know that their stage is the sole reason why I'm hesitant to recommend playing through the extra content. It's harder than the rest and, simply put, not fun. Masker's and =D's stages are real standouts here, however, and deserve to be played through. Masker's got very unique and clever pathing with parachutes, while =D has fun trigger and bounce block platforming that's satisfying to pull off.
I would recommend the base game to everyone, and the extra maker stages to people who can comfortably handle about 60 difficulty platforming and don't mind variable quality.

What an amazing needle game.
Exactly like its 2021 predecessor, the game is composed of a main game made by ebb then an extra made by a handful of makers.
The main game is just god-like, I could play such smooth and pleasant movements for 10h in a row because of how satisfying it is. What prevent me to give the game a prefect 10 is extra, not bad at all (even sparkshadow, while probably the worst stage of the game it was still enjoyable) but far from being as good a the main game with the exception of =D stage that was surpisingly excellent.
According to some other reviews, it's gonna be ebb last game and if it's true then it really pains me but considering how good is his last push I can only say thank you for all your games, you were seriously becoming one of my favorite maker.

I think the save balance is a bit suspect in stages such as the line needle stage. Undeniably harder than the first Ebb Needle. I really enjoyed the first stage and the tower stage. I loved the ice stage, that was the most fun needle ive played in a while. Good job Ebb.
