Given the voice that continually shouts "How are you still alive? GET EM BOSHY!" I would guess that a 10-year-old made this game.
There is no way to die, for anybody. The boss has way too much HP, and then you get him to 0, then -1, then -2, and you realize the boss doesn't die, either.

It would have taken maybe 10 extra seconds to at least allow the player to die and make a clear condition

The gold is hard to find, this game is so good the mechanics and the music, sfx, etc
