Unexpected release huh? Yeah even I'm surprised for reviving this project
A bit of context: Guille, King and me one day in 2016 (August 29th) decided to do a Challenge consisting in creating a fangame in 24H, with a max. difficulty of 60 and at least one gimmick (Engine or original)
Later the community voted for their favorite, the game with the most votes won and got a ""reward""
Well... the idea was that King was gonna take charge of the project and making a full version unifying the 3 games, but that never happened, maybe King didn't have the motivation to do it, and the project was never started
Until one day I was remembering some of the old times and then I found the challenge, I played the 3 games, and got motivation to do the final version, so here it is!
An important note: All the games were remade from scratch in GMS2, and I decided to do some changes to the stages (mostly QoL), that was because I wanted it to feel better for the players, anyways I tried maintaining fidelity to the original project
You can found some of this changes in the Readme of the game, with the original game links
Btw, King won the challenge, he got more space in the HUB lmao

King's Stage:
Undoubtedly one of the best in the collab. Despite being a bit short, it explores its concept from beginning to end, making it fun and totally replayable for the average player. On top of that, the visuals are very pretty and don’t obstruct the gameplay. 9/10
Mauri's Stage:
It’s not bad, but it’s not that great either. It’s quite fun in some parts and not so much in others. For example, the gravity sections were way too annoying for me . Besides that, I really liked the visuals and the background music, as they give it a special touch, very characteristic of Mauri’s style. 7/10
Guille's Stage:
One of my least favorite areas, probably because I’m a needle-hater (but that’s a matter of personal taste). It’s one of the longest stages in the entire game and, with that, one of the most difficult. The stage is divided into four sections, each exploring a different concept (and some similar ones), filled with interesting jumps and gimmicks. I wouldn’t recommend it to the average player because of its difficulty, but for someone who loves needle, it might be fun (? The boss of this stage is nothing special, but I found it quite fun despite being relatively short . 5/10
Conclusion:
Overall, I found it surprising—a collab full of variety and quality for all tastes, especially considering it was made in 24 hours. It explores gameplay styles that would have been innovative for its time. I recommend playing at least one of the three stages (but especially King’s).
