A game with two stages, the first being a trap stage and the second pure needle. The trap stage is alright, with some decently funny bits, but is mostly pretty uninteresting. The needle stage is pretty rough though. It's quite a step up in difficulty, and the difficulty usually comes from named jumps, like random corners, or other awkwardly precise jumps.
There's also an extra, which doesn't really raise the difficulty too much. Needle extra is just one more screen of needle that's pretty similar to the contents of stage 2. The extra avoidance is actually pretty fun, and the reason my rating isn't lower. The start is a bit learny, but I managed to fluke the entire second half. The attacks are pretty neat, and I had fun with it.
Overall, a pretty good avoidance buried behind boring needle. Unfortunately, the avoidance isn't so good that I'd call it worth it, so I still wouldn't really recommend the game.

Four stages, featuring needle, watermelon (aka apples), puzzles, and bosses. Unfortunately, the needle is the longest, hardest, and least enjoyable stage. It's very generic, and usually feels more precise than I would like. One screen has multiple diamonds and corners, for example. The other stages are at least a bit cooler, the apple stage had some fun cycle/avoidance platforming. The puzzle stage was more of a joke than anything, with some memey answers. The bosses were very simple, and the short avoidance was quite boring, so unfortunately this stage was also quite forgettable.
In the end, even though I like the vibe and humor of the game, the gameplay was mostly uninteresting. I would recommend the apple stage, and that's really about it.

I felt like the difficulty here was pretty heavily underrated. The game is very basic needle, that's also pretty poorly balanced. A handful of saves are much harder than the rest. The jumps are not very interesting, and there's a very large number of diagonals thrown in.
Overall, nothing interesting here. Would not recommend.

The sequel to picturesque land, once again featuring three stages of plain needle with touhou bosses (or in this case, one short avoidance). The needle stages are pretty forgettable. The right one is a bit harder, with more of a precision focus, though I thought it had some interesting jumps. The bosses are a highlight, each having some fun attacks in the style of touhou. The avoidance was a bit disappointing, since it started really cool, but was over after only a few seconds.
