Extremely fun, satisfying and beautiful platformer all around; you get presented with a gigantic hub with little to no help in regards to exploration, allowing you to immediately enjoy the beautiful visuals and scale of the game.

After finding your first jump, the greatness of the physics start hitting, and it only gets better the more levels and more jumps you get. The movement is so meaningful to me, the fact that the bird slides a lot and bounces on walls while the platforming stays somewhat intense asks for the skill of controlling yourself very well, which can be initially frustrating but quickly becomes very fun to master.

Every jump and the specific ways they work get enhanced with many extra gimmicks that can be found inside the main levels, where kg shines even more in visuals but also just in pacing in the way he presents his ideas, with many beautiful moments where a screen will just go crazy for one screen, keeping you excited for whats next.

Visuals, music and sound are genuinely way too good in this game, there is so much variety and so much effort put into the ambience itself, with a combination of what feels like infinite styles, and kg uses real pictures and graphics in such cool ways and it always works.

The hub itself also presents other small challenges apart from the levels themselves that just makes it really fun to go around the hub trying to find whatever.

This is maybe one of my favorite platforming experiences ever and I think it is a must play experience even for people outside this community. The fangame inspiration is clear, but it really does feel trascendent.

Some basic RNG attacks, instagib transitions, and 25 seconds long intro. I had fun with it overall since the RNG was fun to dodge and pattern attacks were readable, but I can imagine this avoidance being very annoying if the grind gets longer. Hence not sure if I'd recommend it.

Decent short avoidance which mostly consists of mid-paced pattern attacks. It was mostly okay, sometimes bland, but I had fun especially with the yellow aimed attack with white circles, very dynamic and enjoyable one. The ending screen kinda freaked me out not gonna lie.

Short avoidance that ramps up from easy attacks, adding more every little bit until it's near impossible. Thankfully, you get plenty of hp to tank the hard parts.

This review is based on a 100% clear, although I've weighted the EX avoidance as less significant because it's not part of the main game and I ended up really hating it.

A bit of a time capsule of avoidance design, has a lot of "shape from the center" type patterns that you don't see much of anymore. There's some kinda bizarre things, some of which end up being charming and some are annoying. I think Nobebo's and Kumao's fights end up being a bit slow and boring since it's basically just memorization with very little else. Putin Martin is fine, although doesn't leave much of an impression. Kefey's fight was definitely my favorite, has a decent learning curve and had a lot of fun attack ideas, like the speed up and no double jump sections. I was honestly surprised how much I liked it.

After the four main avoidances is EX which is a minute and a half of waiting for the easy patterns to end once you learn them, then a kinda unfair attack, and then a bit after is Kefey's part which is where like 80% of the difficulty is. It's really unfair and stupid and awkward to learn, even if you know how to do it you pass it kinda rarely and it's super annoying. It also makes dying to the stuff after feel really bad since it's pretty easy mostly, although a few things can still catch you off guard. It's a bizarre and memorable fight but I really don't like it, certainly wouldn't recommend.

If you like this kind of avoidance it's definitely worth trying this game, it's not what I like in avoidance but I still had a decent time with the main game.
