Pretty much disbalanced needle game, but it has some kind of charm. Maybe it's because this game feels slightly different from generic needle games. One screen that requires bhop is the hardest.
edit: turns out there's no required bhop

Cool sequel, other than the second attack (the burst one), it feels very smooth and clean. The last attack of phase 1 is kinda wacky though imo, but it's one of the best attacks I've ever played using that bullet movement. Extra was funny, shouldn't be harder than the normal clear. Recommended to people who wants to play slower barrage fight.

I liked it a lot, the only things I didn't really like are the very first attack being too close to the kid, and the start and end of the 2nd phase being harder than the rest. It's generally very clean RNG wise, and very fun to read and dodge. Recommended to barrage (especially fast ones) lovers.

It sure buffs things, but it didn't get very difficult. The infinity jump section is only part that feels harder. Overall the gameplay feels similar to the original, the fight is wacky, but it really is fun to read. Recommended to people who wants to explore E=etsu/myo abyss.

On the whole, this is an absolutely stellar avoidance. The song is goated, the pacing is absolutely on point, the RNG in this boss is very fun without being unfair, and the patterns were a lot of fun to learn while being quite visually appealing. There are a couple minor issues I have with the boss, such as The big grid segment sometimes being basically impossible, albeit quite rarely, Pre-final being significantly harder on the right than on the left, and you can't control which side you end up on, additionally this boss did have a bug where sometimes transitions would stop working which would require re-opening the game. Otherwise, just about everything in this boss feels incredibly satisfying to do.
I don't think I could possibly ever recommend this enough to someone, especially if they wanted to get better at avoidance.

I first played this game a few years ago, and I was curious to see if it held up. The short answer is yes, absolutely. The long answer is...
Kiduija is a short horror-themed adventure game (don't worry, there aren't actually any scary elements). It has a little bit of a metroidvania vibe to it, but aside from one or two points it's actually completely linear.
The platforming here is great, there's a variety of different obstacles that all contribute to the atmosphere, with crushers, swinging balls, enemies, and more. Rarely does the game rely on just spikes. The gimmicks are really fun, the orbs you shoot to teleport are really fun, and I also love the use of the hanging rings, they add some good variety to the jumps. The only real crime here is that the game is short.
I like the bosses, though the non-final bosses feel too short and easy to ever really shine. The final boss is cool, the interludes spice it up a bit. The aesthetics of this boss are also really good, it's a creepy culmination to the game's atmosphere.
The story is pretty basic, but for a fangame it's impressive to have a story at all, so that's a plus. The opening cutscene is surprisingly well made, with lots of nice details. Overall, the details make the game shine, from the cool inventory featuring a heartbeat, to the random furniture making the castle feel more lively.
The health system is good, it makes the game very approachable. This is a perfect recommendation for new players due to this mechanic. Also, if it wasn't here there were spots I might complain about the balance. But it is, so those slightly more difficult jumps don't actually impact my enjoyment of the game.
Overall, one of the best short adventure games we have. Given the difficulty level, I feel like this should be a go to recommendation for newer players.
