A fun gimmick needle game, as always from Erik. The gimmicks here are pretty simple, but they have a strong impact. Most of them are focused on movement, like the gun heads and the little bubble powerups. They come together to create well flowing saves, and segments that are tricky to learn but become consistent quickly.
The highlight of the game was definitely the final save, but I also enjoyed the joke area, it had some real funny moments. I also enjoyed the boss, but it's a bit simple compared to the needle! In addition, the game is strongly themed around the recipient. That's the mark of a very thoughtful gift.
Easy recommendation for a short but sweet needle game!

Now that the game got an update I can update my review:
Pleasant platforming with a cute gimmick followed by an amazing looking and incredibly fun boss fight.
If you decide to no-hit the boss, you unlock something that will start off a whole ARG. Be warned that there is a jumpscare early on into this ARG if that is something you want to avoid. Turning down your sound will help. This jumpscare was previously so egregiously loud that it was physically painful, which is why I rated the game a 1/10; the update lowered the volume a lot. I'll keep my previous review as the last spoiler. The next spoiler will contain information on how to get started with the ARG; to my knowledge the end has not been reached yet so good luck!
After you no-hit the boss, you unlock a random chance for something to happen on the title screen (spam F2 a lot). Additionally, there is a text file in the folder next to the exe that will give you a hint what to do beyond that. You should do things in this order. From here on I'll leave things to everyone and not just release the solution.
OLD REVIEW:
WARNING: If you try to solve the secret after no-hitting the boss, DO NOT wear headphones. The game will turn red, continuously play an incredibly loud screamer, and lock so you can only close it with task manager.
The screamer was so loud it genuinely hurt my ears and they are still ringing a few minutes later. I had the game at 10% volume.
I was going to give this game a 10, but after deliberately hurting me for actually trying to engage with it I can no longer in good conscience do that.

I've been through all that crap only to get an unwinnable boss.
Sans Undertale reference does NOT help anything.
Jokes aside, this is a pretty big improvement over OOPARTS 3, but it does still suffer from similar issues. This game is a lot less rough around the edges and overall a pretty good time, but it's not the most memorable game. The final boss dialogue was really funny though.
