This one was really hard to review, it's a pretty solid Needleventure game but it has a load of issues that overall made it unfun at the halfway mark or so.
Starting with the strengths, a lot of the good comes from the bosses throughout. Divine Fire is an Avoidance that ended up becoming one of my favorites in general, without the circle pattern attack it would be my singular favorite. Gilgamesh is also a pretty enjoyable fight that's very action-packed, the rush at the end was very exciting. Outside of these, sometimes the needle was somewhat enjoyable, this is mostly the first few stages since as the game gets harder they become less enjoyable. The game also has some neat aesthetics usually, the visuals are cool and the music is absolutely grand most of the time (we love Xenoblade in this house).
Now for the stuff I don't like, there's quite a bit. First of all, the needle becomes absolutely absurd as time goes on. It started mostly fine with some cool maneuvers but by Stage 5 it descends to being claustrophobic corridor needle that feels neither creative nor enjoyable to play. The secrets are the worst part of the game and are borderline bad Jtool screens, it's a shame how extra is locked behind them. Then there are the bad bosses, which is topped by the strength avoidance in chapter 5b. The very first attack is incredibly unbalanced and can send down horizontal lines on you all the time, the green lines attack is hard as hell to learn and everything else is super tedious as well; this boss was easily the worst part of the game and one of the worst avoidances I've played. The next boss afterward is pretty bad as well due to having an absurd amount of HP, a problem that'll be continued by the second phase of the final boss which also had balancing issues as well. Up until stage 5 started I thought the game was quite enjoyable but overall these factors just completely dragged it down for me. I'll also mention there's one screen in the spotlight puzzle stage that's really long and ends with an absurd choke jump, this was pretty terrible and should be nerfed.
Overall, I think I can only recommend stages 1-4 of the game, everything else felt unbalanced so I could not say it's worth playing outside of those. Divine Fire is still one of my favorite Avoidances though so be sure to make it there at least.

Insanely good conclusion to everything about Neon stuff. I would say, almost perfection of needle all around. And the ending really makes me smile, even tho i'm not big fan of this type of humour
My personal issue might be there's not that much of physics-changed stuff compared to prequels, which was one of the shiniest things about them

Punish me, because i'm a badboy who thinks that bat boss is best part of the game by far
I feel like this game in insanely overrated. First of all, it's not adventure. It's needle for 90 % of time and it feels like needle. Second - bad design all the way through. Medley stage after bat is actually one of the worst needle i've ever played. And third - final boss. I love Crimson concept. I hate this boss with passion
