A rather enjoyable Needle game that has really unique movements which end up creating one of the more interesting things I've played. There were some balancing issues, some saves felt too long while others were way easier, and the platform jump at the end of the second screen actually sucked quite a lot. Outside of these issues though, this is a really high-quality work to me, and definitely worth playing.

This is a short action-adventure game, featuring a very unique shooting mechanic not really seen anywhere else. You are a medieval soldier, and instead of shooting a gun, you have to wind up and throw your spear to attack enemies. Aiming it can be pretty challenging, especially if multiple enemies are on the screen, but it's quite fun once you get used to it. The screens themselves consist of a few arenas of enemies, followed by a pretty hard boss that requires you to have mastered the mechanic.
The visuals are mostly simple but work pretty well, with some original sprites for the enemies and the bosses. There is also a dialogue system used for the little bits of "story" going on.
Overall, I really like the concept, and I would love to see it expanded even further in a later release one day.
