Has a mandatory low-jump onto a vine while preserving your double jump. Since I don't know how to do that, I savehacked past it. Everything else I cleared without assistance.
Very volatile save and jump difficulty. Since I didn't play the easier version I can't really comment on what changes were made, but it's clearly much harder than the apparent 50 difficulty of the easier version. Jumps are generally rather precise, sometimes in a generic way and sometimes uniquely. Canceling helped a lot on some saves, especially in the middle and near the end of the game.
It's not worth playing if you're not skilled enough to beat it quickly.

The second half was extremely unpleasant and had a few outlier saves in terms of difficulty. Some of the visuals used really irritated my eyes or drew my attention away from the Kid, like the moving background starting at floor 46. Difficulty is all over the place.

Excellent needle with only a couple bruh saves (one in Egg's and Skull's stages). I wasn't a fan of Watson's stage because cycle needle is simply not fun for me, but it was easy enough that it didn't really matter.
Most of the game is in the mid-to-high 50s, occasionally creeping into the 60s; it gets a 65 because of the two outlier saves I mentioned earlier. Would still recommend to players in that skill range, and of course recommend to higher-skilled players as well.
