Every now and then, there comes a fangame that is so outrageously entertaining that it deserves heartfelt applause by the player at the end. BLB 2 is one of those and a great contender for one of the best Adventure fangames out there. This is absolutely loaded with incredibly unique segments, ranging from gimmicks that change your movement sets to an amazing final boss that is truly memorable.
The core of this game is going around a nonlinear world in order to gain 5 different items to unlock the final stage. The stuff you have to do to actually get these items though is quite more wild than you could possibly imagine and makes sure that you'll never get bored at any point of the game. An important feature is a currency system that allows you to purchase upgrades, some of these increases your movement speed, let you throw rocks, or have autofire. There's even a purchase for lowering the difficulty of the game. An especially neat detail is that you can get coin bonuses as well from completing saves with minimal deaths. Boss fights are also a common occurrence in the game, each of them also being highly varied making for some interesting fights. And then of course there's the final boss: it's truly an absolute spectacle consisting of multiple phases over multiple environments and by far the most amazing thing in the game.
If you're a fan of wacky and bizarre games that feel like a true adventure then this is an absolute must-play from the fangame community. Tamatou has truly made quite a masterpiece here so please give this a try. - Posh Spice

I found the game extremely cool, with a loadout type system I've never seen before. It's a very cool iteration on disc room's progression. At first the loadout thing was overwhelming, but once I got used to it I loved it. The designs for rooms are very cool as well, and the enemies were interesting to fight.

I'm unable to beat the game due to a save that requires mouse and keyboard usage at the same time (which is pretty much impossible for me personally), but I do feel the need to note a few things about the game should it appeal to people after playing a couple of the other stages.
Win8 Taskmgr is insane, that's all there is to it. You have to go through different stages each based on a Windows version, such as Vista or 2000, and they are all chock-full of variety and interesting platforming. Now I won't sugar coat the experience, it's extremely rough to the point you could call it a bad game easily; this can often come from random traps that serve no purpose but to be annoying, or segments so vague they become pseudo-puzzles. There are also some segments that are truly unsavory, one of them being the mentioned Mouse-Keyboard stage.
Despite its shortcomings, I think Win8 is still something worth looking at, it is quite a weird specimen that some people may enjoy having a laugh with. It also has one of the best soundtracks of any fangame.

Old adventure game while not that great gameplay wise has a bit of charm to it. While it has the random in your face traps you see in games around this time, they showed up far inbetween enough that it never annoyed me. Some of the later stages have some small gimmicks like moving spikes or blocks that fall down when you land on them, and that made the game stay away from just being a needlefest with the occasional trap here and there.
The bosses are rather simple yet clever once you figure out how to beat them, and the sped up Guyrock instead of your average boss theme was pretty funny. They don't have alot of health so they aren't very difficult. The only bad part is that there never is a save right before the boss; you have to do a little bit of platforming to get back to the boss. The worst offender is the final boss where you have to listen to the crusty (yet hilarious) explosion sound everytime you break a block. While it doesn't take longer than 10 seconds, it gets annoying after a while.
Overall it's alright for the time it came out. Adventure games were trying to establish fun and unique gameplay that most of the older adventure games before it lacked, where they usually just went for heavy trap usage instead. It isn't amazing by today's standards, but like I said at the start it's more charming than anything else.
