My first playthrough of this game was on Hard difficulty, and honestly it was probably my most rewarding clear. First, a little background.
I'm relatively new to playing aiwannas (I started by playing IWM via. friend recommendation about 7-8 months ago) but honestly I wanted to play the original IWBTG (Multimedia Fusion) and it felt very old and unstable, so from a technical standpoint, I didn't enjoy it very much. When I heard there was a remastered version, I played it, & I feel that it addressed all of the problems I had with the original (random crashing, lag spikes, weird bugs, etc.) I chose Hard difficulty because I wanted to get some more experience under my belt & challenge myself, and to-date, this is probably my most rewarding accomplishment.
The game itself is incredibly creative, funny, & I love how it pulls several references from older video games. It was really hard for me to actually get mad at this game when the traps were clever. For example, I thought the spike platform crashing down on you in the second forest room after hopping on clouds was hilarious, and I was laughing because of how caught off-guard I was. I think the only area I actually disliked was the Metroid area, because of how many times you need to shoot Mother Brain while dodging the spaghettios(?) in the room. Other than that, everything is pretty fair in this game.
I've gotta say that I felt so accomplished & happy with myself to clear this game on Hard difficulty in my first ever playthrough, & how determined I was the entire time.
For newer players getting into aiwannas, the remastered isn't very different from the original, but it does add more content & it is WAY more stable, so I definitely recommend it.

This is a Boshy fangame which I feel could definitely use some improvement. The game is completely silent, with there being no music or sound effects. While this feels more of a nitpick, it would definitely be nice to include. And while I don't really have an issue with fangames made in different engines, (more power to you for experimenting) I feel like the controls in this game aren't programmed very well, and it makes the spike trap in the second room infuriating. It wouldn't be too bad if the movement was more manageable, but it is incredibly hard to nail the movement down. It would also be nice to be able to freely change the controls, because I've never really been a big fan of using space to jump. I wish I was able to finish this fangame, but all of these things combined are really hard to look past.
Overall, this one wasn't really for me, but I hope that the person who made this can address some of these issues. I'd love to try and finish this on my own sometime!

An adventure fangame goliath with a staggering amount of length and difficulty. Each boss will force you to come up with strategies for almost every single attack (which I find to be the most fun part of the game) and the platforming has so much variety that really makes you feel like you're exploring another world in size. This sense of immersion I felt was only helped with the simple yet charming story. One of my favourite aspects of this game is that usually if you are stuck at a certain part, there can usually be another strategy that can make that part easier rather than having just to get more precise. While the game isn't entirely like this, I think it's a feat for a fangame to be this hard without relying on harsh precision. When playing through this game my save file shat itself on the final boss, but playing through the game again with the strategies I know now was some of the most fun I had in DWBA. I'd highly recommend giving it a shot and I'd even more highly recommend replaying this game after you beat it.
