For: I Wanna Travel the Night
Travel the Night is Erik's sequel to a previous game of his, I wanna End my Growth. It thus has some of the same features such as hand-drawn graphics, Cuphead-inspired bosses, and returning characters.
The game is pretty solid and has a beautiful coat of paint over it, pretty much the entire game is made using custom sprites by Erik. The platforming is pretty simple and generally smooth, a lot of it includes an enemy-based design that features both ones you can shoot and ones you can't. These enemies have a bit of variance through them, and I liked all of them except the one square head robot since jumping over square killers is always obnoxious.
I do however feel as if this is somewhat a downgrade from End my Growth. First, the entire size gimmick has been removed, which is quite a shame since it leads to a less interesting game overall. Platforming thus feels far less involved than the first game, instead of worrying about your kid size there is no puzzle aspect at all really. The bosses feel like a huge pitfall from the first as well, with many of them having way too much HP to be enjoyable, they just become boring pretty quickly instead. The ocean boss was particularly one that became annoying to play, though the second phase was much more bearable.
Overall I would definitely recommend it, it's a solid adventure game that many will enjoy, just know it's probably a bit of a lesser experience than the first.

Most people said to me not to play this game. I did anyway.
The platforming is ok but it spikes a lot all of a sudden.
The bosses are annoying boring or a spike.
I didn't like the game at all except for stage 1&2 needle and kamilia.
The rest is either annoying, frustrating and/or a difficulty spike.

The traps are not that interesting and the saving audio sounds a bit annoying. But ah, man, my bad. I really don't know it's a tradition to jump with z and shoot with x in these "boshy" series. Personally, I really don't feel comfortable with this.
Sorry for the previous comment. Anyway, your game is good. But maybe make the traps a bit more interesting?
