Incredibly charming adventure game, that actually feels like a proper adventure game, with a focus on enemies mixed with platforming. The various stages feel unique and each one is fun. The bosses are super cool, with the handdrawn graphics being used to phenomenal effect with the bosses having multiple forms. My only gripe is that the main size changing gimmick doesn't feel like its used very much. Remove a couple jumps, and the game would be entirely the same without the gimmick. Its only really justified by the big form doing more damage. However, it's still really creative and this complaint isn't enough to reduce my enjoyment of the game, especially when the graphics are so much fun.

Interesting gimmick that isn't used to its fullest imo. You control two kids, one can jump and one can shoot. You don't get to use both for saves until later on, and these saves are kinda weak, with annoying traps. I feel like the gimmick could've been used for more, but despite that it's original and creative, and there's a lot of fun parts. However, the bosses were also pretty boring, and brought the game down a bit.

Phenomenal needleventure game with superb gimmicks and well styled graphics. Consists of a hub with 2 areas, then 2 more areas in a linear order. The left area is a forest stage with a really unique gimmick in which you much step on every grass block, however this makes thorns grow on top of it. This area was really clever, but a couple spots felt inordinately precise. The right area is an underground factory. This is the simplest area, just using moving spikes, however it's made interesting by an escape sequence in which the factory fills with water. The third area is in the sky, and uses a bouncy cloud gimmick. This is used really well, and there's some fun platforming here. Finally, the last area is a psychedelic rainbow dreamscape where the walls grow and shrink on you. This area looks incredible, and uses a really fun and creative gimmick to create really cool screens. Ultimately, I consider this game a must play, and one of the best beginner fangames I've played.

The visuals are really good in this, and I appreciate the extra effort for custom bullet sprites and the timer. I might've just been having a skill issue, but some of the attacks felt a bit too RNG heavy, especially for an avoidance of this level. Additionally, the dodges felt pretty samey for each attack. It's still pretty fun, but nothing too special.

Fun advanced beginner level avoidance. The visuals are extremely high quality, and the prettiness adds a fair bit to the enjoyment. Attacks are all cool, with some varied dodge patterns, however the difficulty balance is a bit inconsistent. The fences on the ground and the fireflies in some sections make it hard to see the player, which can be annoying at times. The avoidance goes on too long, with multiple "gotcha" attacks after the song ends. However, despite these flaws I had fun playing this and would recommend it.

Really fun avoidance with pleasing visuals. The aesthetic of the entire thing is wholesome and cute and keeps a smile on your face. The attacks are really varied and quite fun. I really enjoyed the infinite jump section where you stay in one wedge of a rotating pattern, the arena change section, and the final attack where you shrink down to dodge in the middle of a big heart. Overall a very fun experience!

Despite first appearances this is a surprisingly creative, cool, and fun adventure game. The game has a hub with 4 stages, ending with a short final stage. Each stage has a theme and a main gimmick, ending with a boss. The first stage unfortunately in my opinion is by far more annoying and unfun than the other 3, bogged down by a lot of forced waiting and precision. The other 3 stages flowed very nicely, were much more reasonable difficulty-wise, and only had a few mildly annoying parts if any at all. The bosses are pretty straight-forward and not that hard, usually they're pretty decent. If you're looking for a silly adventure game with some mostly cool gimmicks then look no further. A little frustration is likely to occur at some points but I think this is overall worth playing.

A short adventure game that's pretty pleasant to play. The needle part of the game uses a variety of gimmicks you'll probably have seen before, but that are all used to good effect. I particularly like the inclusion of a quiz (unfortunately half of it is Japanese, so I had to guess), and the screen that used a reverse spotlight. The avoidance is decent, but nothing special. Attacks are varied and fair, and there are some cool visual effects like and umbrella and a clock, made entirely of apples. Overall, pretty cool beginner game to expose yourself to some common gimmicks.
