Played after ONG2 out of pure curiosity. It is hard to refer to this one as a collectathon as this game is more linear in nature. There are still items throughout the game with different tiers of hidden, but you pretty much miss them and just keep going to the next stage in line, and only go back once you have reached the end. The platforming is a lot rougher in this first entry, with many sections actually getting on my nerves, but there are still interesting sections around.
Once you get to the end, you are given warps to explore sections, which actually hint out around where you can find them, but given some of the rough sections, and how big some of these are, it is a lot less fun than going back into the shorter and nicer stages of ONG2.
Still appreciated as a necessary step for this maker to create ONG2 which is amazing.
Warning for anyone going for 100%, one item is straight up impossible to get because of a warp being incorrectly coded I think.

Really fun jump refresher needle with a nice aesthetic. Save balance is a little wonky, but it was still very good, lots of interesting maneuvers.

While the pathing is intricate, the gameplay suffers from it. Lots of blind screen transition jumps, uncomfortable maneuvers and questionable save balance.

The game is good but is brought down by the moving platform save, it flows quite bad due to the platform being too slow on the second half yet too fast at the first half, and many, many, collision bugs, as a result of this i think most of the challenge is in that save due to how irritating it is, but otherwise the game has actually pretty good dotkid needle.

Rebeating this and it took me 1 hour less than the first time I beat this. It's fun to remember how hard I found the jumps and didn't know where to go, and now I did it almost mindlessly in 13 minutes. Anyways it's pretty fun, interesting routing with one kinda precise jump.
