Exordium took me by surprise in a few ways. For one, it's far longer than I expected it to me, thinking it would take me no more than half an hour when in fact it took me three and some change. This is by no means a negative, and the length is by all means necessary to the game. Its exploration of its key gimmicks feels well measured, paced out excellently, ultimately concise. So many saves I'd just marvel at the ingenuity of, so many felt impossibly clean and well-executed. I never felt like any one stage was spinning its wheels, each save felt like it was a unique, interesting exploration of what its given gimmick or gimmicks could do. This culminates in the finale, which not only entertains many interesting combinations of the game's overall gimmicks, but tests you on your usage of them and makes sure you've developed great proficiency with everything Exordium has to offer.
The overall story of the game is interesting, in part because it exists at all. I like the idea of this cursed game that seems to have a mind of its own and changes against the owner's wishes. I would like to have seen it explored further, but I don't mind that the game lacks in this regard given the context.
If you have any love for modern needle, then this is an absolute must play. Exordium inspires me as a creator, and I hope it inspires others, too.

Based on 100 % clear. Good modern adventure that is maded in style of very old fashion (which was replicated quite well, the good old GameMaker Lite logo wouldn't lie). I liked it, the more you dive in, the more fun game delivers. However bosses were a bit lacking compared to platforming, and overall conclusion i can give is that experience was alright, but not really much beyond this

Oh boy, what a journey it was.
I really loved the vibe and atmosphere in this game. Puzzles were tricky yet really cool and clever. My favorite puzzle has to be the one where you have to "cheat" to enter the giant's mind, I really love stuff like this where you really have to think outside the box.
As a puzzle enjoyer, I approve.
Highly recommended to play blind.
