Don't you love it when Miku cremates dead cats? Very bizarre game which is all about incremation of dead people for some reason, combined with the classic bosses this guy has to offer. It also likes to repeat the Miku avoidance from early right at the end.

An other amazing, and my second game, from MattinJ. Troll king is like it name suggests a troll adventure game with, like overlord, an insane production value. All bosses are great and the game isn't really hard (expect the final boss but if you have all the secret items, it becomes really easier)
But I feel this game could have been better:
-I know it can be weird to say that, but for me it shouldn't have been a troll game because most of the traps are just decent and don't match very well with the epic adventure the game offers.
-It's a detail but I wish the big spike was better used, and not being just a troll.
-A problem that many fangames are dealing with is that they are compared to another but in the worse way, and I felt while playing that this game is like overlord but a bit worse. It's not a problem for the game itself but it affects my feeling toward it.

Overall, the game is really great but I was kinda disappointed.

This is the single, most confusing engine I've ever seen... and I thought engine_japan2 was difficult to understand.
When I opened the world object, I felt physical pain. It still haunts me to this day.

Other than that, there're some cool gimmicks in this. My personal favourite is the hook, but I wouldn't recommend trying to mess around with the code. The creator of this engine is very, very disorganized and likes mixing both code and drag n drop, which gives me headaches. Every text written in japanese can't be read, so if you try to understand what the hell is going on inside of this, you better know how code and drag n drop works. Good luck trying to figure this thing out, and let me warn you, you'll need tons of patience.

Looking at it now, it's kinda lacking, but I think I'll let my nostalgia win and say that for being the first of its kind, it does deserve some praise. It you want to test you fangame creation knowledge, this is a good engine to look into and learn. We've come a long way, gentlemen

Absolutely wonderful needle with chill visuals and music, and dotkid that I actually *enjoyed*. Not particularly challenging, but engaging and carefully crafted. I don't think I really disliked any screens in this game, and time just kinda flew while I played it.

A solid entry in the 100F genre from a few years back. This one has aged well compared to many of its compatriots.

As usual, in the classic style, a number of the first floors are basically empty but once it picks up the quality stays high. Aesthetic changeups are inconsistent but frequent enough to not get boring and it plays through a number of gimmicks in interesting ways, changing them up a ton in the final stretch. It has bosses roughly every 25 floors and these are mostly interesting (X for autofire exists and is nearly mandatory).

It never gets tough, and the bosses are probably easier than the platforming in general. There's a couple lategame sore spots that make no real sense from a design perspective, but not substantial enough to harm the game significantly.

Overall if you want an easier 100F, this fits a nice spot in the celebrate 100 range. It also tosses in a number of other fangame references and a ton of gimmicks, so even if you're more experienced you'll get a little benefit of recognizing screens here and there with changeups to keep it from getting boring.
