This game is heavily "inspired" by I Wanna Kill The Guy and I Wanna Be The Boshy. It seems promising at first, and the platforming throughout the game stays mostly quite enjoyable. However, I would class every boss as unplayable (or at least not worth playing without using autofire). I got through all content until the final boss where I really had no desire to finish it. It is 100% possible, but it is also 100% garbage. If for some reason you feel possessed to play this game despite my warning, use autofire or give yourself godmode to skip every boss. It's really not worth doing otherwise.

Incredible demo with lots of potential. The visuals and effects are stylish, and the enemy characters are cute and have fun personalities. It felt like there were a lot of gimmicks presented in a short time, but they were all well done and made for some interesting puzzle areas. Definitely looking forward to more.

Compared to the previous marathon games, this one feels like a bit less of a tight package, largely due to the uneven lengths of the stages (not just the Metroid area) which makes some stages feel underutilized while others wear out their welcome just a bit. That being said, the highs are higher than ever before, and it goes out on a hell of a bang with the last few bosses, so it's still an absolute must play.
