Great medley-themed-but-not-a-medley game. There's some adventure-y stuff, some needley stuff, some gimmicky stuff, bosses, avoidances. Lot of stuff here and it's mostly very good. I think this is a very good game for sort of getting your footing in playing rng-based avoidances. I feel like the whole sequential structure and having platforming to look forward to and whatever makes it motivating to keep going and most of the avoidances felt not that hard despite my relative lack of experience. The worst part of the game is the achievement hunting but if you just don't do that then you're good. There is one secret avoidance that might be worth fighting. It's probably the easiest one in the game so I don't see why not.
Great game. Absolutely recommended.

6 stages of gimmick needle even including some gimmicks that aren't used often. Great immersive visuals and song picks too. Final stage has sort of long saves and ends on a longer one so be prepared for that.
We need more games like this.

too lazy to put a proper review at the moment but I just noticed I never reviewed this. this was the game that got me into needle. This game is literally my favorite platformer of all time and is very personal to me. I know that not a lot of people would agree this is the best gimmick needle game or whatever but most people agree it's one of the best ones out there and I think it's worth a play even for people that don't play needle. It's so fucking good dude.

I cried a lot. Very impressive work of art and needle game. The game really has its own identity and while hard everything manages to be really fun and immersive. I do wish the occasional pixel perfect jumps weren't there but I suppose there aren't too many of them and surprisingly they didn't really ruin my enjoyment of the game as a whole. Highly highly recommended game but you should be pretty skilled and have a good mindset before taking it on.
