Really fun fangame with some great gimmicks and minigames to mix things up. It had a great balance between pure platforming and special mechanics for each area. My only couple complaints are that the final stage is a bit of a difficulty spike and that there's a couple bugs that really shouldn't be present (like getting stuck in the pokemon battle etc) but still amazing.

A really fun and short game. It was short and sweet, which just left me wanting more by the end, but definitely worth playing through for anyone.

My first fangame clear, and I quite enjoyed it. The technical issues from IWBTG were completely fixed and replaced with an incredibly honest and fun game. There were a fair bit more puzzles than I expected, but they meshed with the platforming well enough that I didn't really mind. Absolutely loved all the EBF music and Touhou sound effects. My only complaint is that some of the bosses are way too easy (mainly the factory one) but the last two bosses more than made up for that. Definitely worth playing for any fangame enjoyer.

It's a classic, not only for fangames, but for platformers as a whole. (keep in mind this is the only guy-like I've played so far) I found the platforming surprisingly enjoyable, and the boss fights were so creative and fun they were by far my favorite part of the whole experience. Even for someone who's played plenty of precision platformers, hard mode provided a decent level of challenge (~8-9 hours for the playthrough) Unfortunately, there are far too many technical shortcomings to give it a higher rating. Crashes seem to happen at random and can get very frustrating at times, and the game is prone to freezing at the worst possible moments (my favorite bug was the ending cutscene refusing to play after beating the final boss). Overall, IWBTG is a strong foundation that I'm sure fangames have built on in the years since its release.
