i tried to clear that several times since 2019, and now im here writing a review on delfruit for it.
that was such an unforgettable journey, so many fails, so many save clears that gave me a good amount of emotions. i cant say that the game is bad (maybe the water buffed octodiamond was), it is what it is.

Don't play this... If you don't wanna waste around 100 hours like me. Last 2 stages is so bad this game likes valigns stuff and level design on stage 7 is horrible. The only thing that was good is the music. Oh by the way the game is impossible! There is a mod that makes it possible. But still I wouldn't recommend you to play it.

This game will forever mean a lot to me, both as one of the first fangame clear videos that really stood out to me in its sheer difficulty, and today, as my hardest clear and biggest accomplishment. I still remember watching Kinata's clear many years ago and it really sticking out to me, watching the death counter jump up by thousands on every save of stage 7, seeing him beat the tower and really seeing what people were really capable of with dedication and hard work. That mystique, aura and novelty behind the game as this old titan that seemed impossible to defeat really drew me in, initially just to see how far I could get, but as I kept playing and pushing myself and getting further and further in, it led me to take it much more seriously and really give it my all. The tower, while not for everyone, was a highlight and a great way to cap off this journey. It's definitely not for everyone and has a lot of flaws, the balancing is bad, it has two impossible saves and some very questionable design choices, but a lot of it can really be chalked up to the era the game was made, and really adds to the charm in some ways. It still feels surreal to have been able to best all the challenges this game has to offer. If this game means anything to you, and you're good enough to take it on, I encourage you to give it a try.
