Pretty good needle fangame. A bit unbalanced in difficulty but overall my experience with Crimson Needle was pretty chill! Looking forward to CN2

在现在的视角来看 游戏的质量与难度分配极其不均匀 玩起来比较难受 但总体质量还算过关 可主要这是个具有里程碑意义的IW游戏 对后世跳刺IW影响巨大 能在14年做出这样的游戏绝对值得八分以上的评分

I did not enjoy this game. Many saves contain what I consider some of the worst jumps I've ever had to do in a save. The difficulty peaks prematurely (77-78) but I feel the needle gets much better after this. Even the Archfoe area I considered pretty fun. Still, I can't recommend this game. Even the music is boring. There isn't much reason to play this besides wanting to improve at bad/obtuse jumps or wanting to complete the crimson series, which is why I cleared this.

If I had one word to describe the game, I'd describe it as an experience.
Has creative jumps, but also has no save balance towards the end. Most of the time, is made up of tough but doable saves, and sometimes, it has some wild ones. I will now list off screens that made me want to tear my hair out: 40, 78, 79, 80, 82, 89
