A cactus is the ability to let go of the same shift key more than once, completely stopping any upward momentum the player has. This allows for very unnatural jump heights which can make certain "impossible" jumps actually doable. One can either do this by using multiple keyboards, or rebinding two buttons to the same key.
I have actually never done a cactus in my life until attempting this game and while the game itself is nothing noteworthy and pretty lackluster all things considered, it did teach me a pretty useful technique I might need to utilize later, so I have that to thank for it!
Only play if you feel like you absolutely need to learn this. You can probably still play the vast majority of fangames without the need to cactus at all.

Figuring this game out by myself was interesting. Games like this are almost like a real-time puzzle, figure out the weird combination of inputs necessary to do the jump.
I'm surprised I enjoyed the 30 minutes I spent in this game, both in jtool and in the actual game, as I've never been a fan of precision needle, one-jump games, or even frame perfect stuff in general.
Maybe it was the game itself that was fun to me, or maybe it was things outside the game that made me appreciate it more. I don't know. But this was enjoyable for me.
