As someone who never really likes to play precision games or L-Needle, I think I had a lot of fun going out of my way to clear this, especially for a derivative of Hades. I came back to this game 2 years after getting to screen 2 and getting stuck on a save, but decided to clear from the beginning in about 53 minutes. There are a couple jumps where using numpad cancelling will greatly increase your chance of getting past tight jumps, so I definitely recommend knowing how to use it when playing this game.
This game is pretty run of the mill and there are a lot of pretty generic jumps, so if you want a precision game that is more interesting, this one might not be for you, but considering how old this game is, it shouldn't be particularly surprising that the needle hasn't aged too well. That said however, I don't think it stopped me from having a good time, so if you are looking for a decent challenge, I think it may be worth a shot!

Compared to it's inspiration, Hades, Zeus winds up feeling quite a bit more forgettable. The jumps are pretty generic, almost all coming down to some combination of named jumps. While Hades does this too, in this game it's even more prominent. That said, the jumps are pretty fun, and this winds up being decent junk food needle.

A hades-like I found significantly more enjoyable than the original hades, thanks mostly to the increase in tidiness in both jumps and tileset. It was also mercifully short, with the last save being the hardest one, so very well balanced in that sense.
