This game has the roughness of the early Dagger era reminding me a lot of how Excalibur plays, but with more thought process into making the platforming feel less rough while still keeping that feeling that he is experimenting with whatever comes to his mind during the game.
Some of the bosses are still somewhat rough and platforming wise it can hit you with some really annoying ones but now there are way more positives than negatives. You can tell he was improving both in gameplay structure and creativity at an awesome rate.

Personally I didn't really like it. Every boss has very boring gameplay or horrible attack difficulty balance. Some saves were weird precision needle which does not utilize the gimmick at all, or were even annoying. For example one save has a long unnecessary intro which literally does not have any gameplay, and one has multiple of two-block-height high gravity jumps at the start of the save. I get that this game is fourth fangame dagger has made, but I enjoyed the second game more honestly. Give it a go if you're interested, however this one is not a recommendation from me.

Really fun game split into two paths, each path having two stages. I particularly liked the right path's first stage, but the other ones are quite enjoyable too. There's a lot of variety regarding gimmicks, with some tricky needle jumps involved once in a while. Once you clear both paths, you'll unlock the last stage, which features a bit of each stage's gimmicks and design. Bosses are simple, but fun, and some have some interesting attacks.
I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to. Would recommend.
