My first game on a not-YoSniper engine. I was still getting used to what was possible with the physics so there are a few more skips than I intended, but I still consider this game one of the high points in my body of work in terms of the final product. I don't have much to say about it aside from that.

Despite being a fan of the Kyir games I've played, for some reason I went into this not expecting to like it very much. I have no idea why, but those were my expectations. I am happy to have been proven wrong. This is a very short and cute needle game with a straightforward final boss at the end. There is a story of sorts as well but it feels very inconseqeuntial, though that may be because I am not familiar with the larger storyline of Kyir's work.
I find the needle and use of jump refreshers to be very much ahead of their time and I was surprised by how smooth it all felt to play. Overall this was a great time.
Also I have no idea why the delfruit difficulty is so high. This is not that bad by any stretch.

A somewhat short but sweet Needleventure game that focuses a lot on the usage of jump refreshers. I found it to be pretty fun and especially thought that this was some of the best usages of the gimmick that I've played so far. The music is also especially noteworthy as it's a very climatic soundtrack, I thought it fit in very well with the stages. The game ends with a short avoidance that isn't too hard, which I found both cool and impactful. I also really liked the bit of story the game had, Kyir managed to make a God character that actually felt like one.
Definitely recommend this, it's worth playing.
