Jump balance is off, saves generally have one or two jumps that make them actually difficult. Otherwise, the game is okay. It would be worse were it not for the novelty of there only being upspikes, something I didn't notice until I read moogy's review of the game. Anyways, I wouldn't really recommend this, but it's fine. If it were longer, I'd be more negative about it.

The individual jump balance is meh but its a decent game with a gimmick integrated so well i didn't even notice it until moogy pointed it out after I had finished the game.

As with other games in this series, this game presents a somewhat cute concept (all upwards spikes) and some decent base design, then proceeds to ruin it all with overly precise jumps that throw the difficulty balance and pacing all out of wack. It's not fun or interesting to have to do, say, a frame perfect rejump in the middle of a save that is otherwise mostly trivial, it's just annoying and overly grindy for the difficulty that the rest of the game is.
