Another unreleased work from this author. Normal version did exist around the October of 2013, and easy version at the very least from November 2013. Not sure what was the context of making the easy version and was it made along side the normal version, however, it is interesting how for years it was actually unknown if normal version of this game did exist or not due to the absence of the videos.
I have played when it was found back in 2022, and now I have re-cleared it once again.
This game features short needle screen and avoidance with creepy vibes. Needle is pretty much nothing-burger, featuring choke diagonal in the very end. Music does not restart so at the very least it is not annoying. Difficulty is not much away from the avoidance, to be honest. This needle is also identical in the normal version.
The avoidance I did enjoy more in the past (hence I had plans to give 7.6 rating), but now I am less enthusiastic about it. However, I still like it. For 2013 avoidance, we can see a lot of creative ideas that fit so well with the song. Different sprites for different parts was the first thing that really fits so well. Some attacks like curving (along with the sprite that appears on that attack) surprisingly fit really well with the vibe as well. There were some confusing attack, especially, the zig-zag attack, but it is still fine. The ending is pretty scary with the whole bouncing action though.
Cannot say much for the RNG fairness, but I kind of felt that there can be unfair situations here, which is expected from 2013 avoidance.
I know that the normal version buffs attacks quite a lot, up to the point where it gets frustrating to play. So I am glad that the easy version is adequate from that point.
I do appreciate this game, especially, since this was one of the games that I have always wanted to try in the past.
It is a bit dated, but the vibes are there, and this is what mattered to me. You can probably beat this game in less than an hour, and I am honestly fine with that. This author does know how to make creative stuff.
Would recommend if you have the game.
