Since most of the scores seem to be completely unsubstantiated I thought I'd write an actual review. This is a mod that heavy rebalances Kamilia 3 to make it accessible to novice players. All the content in the game is changed including secrets and extra. No new content is added.
Has the mod accomplished its goal? Absolutely. The game is well balanced, all the notorious segments and bosses have been reworked. The difficulty curve of the game has been smoothened, there are no major content walls and difficulty spikes, for better or worse.
Has the design and quality of the game suffered because of the changes? Yes, significantly. A lot of the original saves and attacks were build around a certain difficulty level and you cannot simply rebalance them without completely reimagining the design. As a result there are VERY noticable places in the game where you could put a sign saying "there was supposed to be something interesting here but now it's a lone diagonal".
The same goes for certain boss attacks. Look at The Guy for example. Kracko used to force you to utilize vines to survive but now the density is nerfed so you just dodge in the bottom. Justice final boss (the name eludes me) was supposed to force you to do a loop around the room but now you can just dodge in the bottom. As a result the unusual room layout is no longer utilized and feels unnecesary.
I think that most of these problems are not bad decisions or lazyness of the developer but rather an inherent result of trying to rebalance the game without a complete redesign of some segments. This just goes to show that quality and difficulty of a game are not actually independent and you cannot simple move the difficulty slider down and expect the game to be as fun. Still, some of the saves in the game haven't suffered as much and many barrage-heavy bosses are still fun so it's not all awful. And of course all the production quality is still there.
Don't play this if you ever plan or dream about finishing the original K3 at some point. Otherwise, it might be worth your time.

my review got removed but idk i still wanna justify and explain my thoughts, hopefully that is fine. i wont give it a rating.
first and foremost, i believe a mod made without permission deserves nothing more than a 0. i see nothing wrong with rating this a 0 because of this but idk i guess the delfruit mods do so theres that i guess, so i wont give it a rating. if there was proper permission my og review probably wouldnt have existed at all in the first place, but if it did i would have given it at least more than a 0. usually in my reviews i try to look at the positives of each game, because i respect makers of fangames, and fangames are usually harmless for existing, so theres no reason to be too harsh, i dont however, respect taking a game and adding the laziest nerfs without permission, and i do believe the existence of k3 ez is a net negative for the community as a whole. the readme supports making mods without permission and a bunch of newcomers might see that and be like "yeah bro yeah lets gooo!!!!!!!!" which i personally believe this is a very overall negative viewpoint and it being presented to a lot of newcomers in this way who dont know any better doesnt come off well to me.
there were also a few other low reviews that got removed, im mentioning this because if you look at the reviews here youll see general approval which is just not the case
the nerfs are also bad lol

I really don't understand why everyone doesn't like this complexity. If you have very skill and passed the original, well, do not meddle here, this is not for you. This game was created for beginners who cannot pass the original due to the difficulty, but want to feel this experience, because they have heard about how cool K3.
As for the balance, then you have no idea how this difficulty can be played by a person without experience, and if you have completed 100+ fangames, then you do not need to shout that the balans of K3 is bad. The K3 EZ is what a layer of players needs, not to brag that they have passed K3, but in order to raise their skill. This is a very good fangame to get better and at the same time in which a beginner will be ready to spend more than 200-400 hours.
