very difficult setup needle game, looks somewhat interesting but the single screenshot of this game displayed on this site is basically the entire game, nothing outside of a 2 screen long room was even changed off the default engine template. I don't really know why you wouldn't put the minuscule amount of effort in to change anything in this game, it's frustrating as it's a very challenging game, so it's not a quick experience, with games of this difficulty it should be expected that the player spends quite a decent amount of time with them, so it's not really 'high quality' (or truthfully any quality at all) to just go in, place down some subpar needle gameplay and then do nothing with the game, the creator didn't even bother adding any saves into the game, there's just no effort or care across the whole board. As mentioned before, this game is just a single save across 2 screens, general structuring is probably the best thing this game has for offer, as it's pretty cool, background and tiles are decent although it's just recoloured guy tiles. The actual needle is sadly not great, I can't say there's a single jump in this whole game i'd really deem good, except for maybe the last sphincter of screen 1 but it's not a unique jump anyway. Screen 1 starts off with an annoying run-up to a forced cancel, it's just silly and a time-waster. The ledge plane's existence conveys to me that there's no real consideration for good intuitive needle gameplay. Screen 1 isn't anything too hard but it's just not very fun and feels terribly inconsistent and annoying to play. I don't like the turnaround with the prefinal jump (not sphincter) and i dont like the start of the final jump but those might just be nitpicks. There's also the 'double gate, 5 diagonals' jump in the middle, which is just an unfun usage of the most bare-bones basic named jumps. Screen 2 starts with whats likely the best jump of the whole save, which is a pretty fun (albeit easy) drop. Then it just throws 3 super f's at you for unknown reasons, it's also not particularly difficult it just asks the question of "why?". The water jump also brings the same notion except on a much larger scale, this is the only water usage in the whole game, and it's not a fitting jump, I don't know why it's here, it's unlike every other jump in this save so far and it's just arbitrary and inconsistent, the fact it's into a ledge aswell is kind of obnoxious. Then it's just a 1f corner, an invert and a double invert, plus a forced cancel in the middle of the screen. I'm unsure if any actual consideration was put into the needle gameplay of this game, as especially on screen 2 there's a good amount of just, random named jumps that don't bring anything worthwhile to the table. I didn't have a fun time with this game but I had atrocious hardware problems that ended up killing me at the final inverts ~7 times, etc. I believe someone could enjoy this game, and have a fun time with it, but I can't really say I think it's of decent quality either, everything in this game is just yoyoyo engine default, except 2 screens of mainly named jumps & unfun needle.

Review was a bit of a complain-sesh, but there's just not much *to* enjoy in this game. The general idea of the structuring is actually pretty neat though, if the needle was better then I could definitely see myself quite liking this game. I'm aware the default template stuff might be as a result of the creator trying to go for the "ftfa-like" genre, but the needle is not ftfa-like, alongside the menus, clear screen, etc.
