I think this game is a big improvement over the first one and encouraged me to play to the end.
There's some interesting gimmicks here, my favorite was the one in the fourth stage, I think it flows well and allows for some creative pathing.

The majority of the saves are fine, though I'm not a big fan of how input dense the game gets at points.
This game often requires repressing jump very quickly and it's just kinda awkward and not that interesting to pull off.
I do think each stage is too long and could benefit from trimming off a few screens. I also personally don't like the chaotic placement of spikes in the air, it kinda looks ugly to me, which is a shame since the backgrounds are pretty good.

The boss was good as well although I would have preferred if the attack order was randomized. the individual attacks were pretty creative and I honestly think the game could have benefitted from a miniboss or two in the middle of the game as small breaks from the needle, especially if they're of this quality. It's very obvious that Gaby knows how to make fun bosses.

Tester here. As I was involved (altough in a very minor way) in the production of this game, I'm not giving it a quality rating. It's good though :)

Needleventure themed on jump refreshers, this game has exactly the same structure as its predecessor. It was designed to be substantially easier than Castle Blaze 1, and I think it mostly succeeded in that regard. Aside from that, the biggest difference with the prequel is that while Castle Blaze 1 had most if its gimmicks taken from Jumple Refrenture, this one introduces a brand new type of refresher in every stage, aside from the first one that uses regular refreshers. The level design is quite good and the mechanics are used in a lot of interesting ways.

The most obvious cons for me are a kinda inconsistent difficulty curve (there is one stage later in the game that is way easier than most of the rest of the game, and some gimmicks are way harder to master than others) and, well, one gimmick in particular, altough very original, can be a bit divisive and is not very friendly at first.

That being said, I think this game is a nice improvement over the prequel and worth a shot without a doubt.

This is a lengthy needle fangame with gimmicky jump refreshers as the main mechanic. Despite having "2" in the name, you really don't need to play the previous game to play this one (and it probably would be better if you don't lol). This is only a "sequel" gameplay-wise, since it follows the same formula as the previous game. And unlike the previous game, this one was actually tested by other people aside from me (norton_2222 and Yanick), which means it should at least be a little bit more balanced.

Regardless of the balance, it's still a relatively challenging game and it's not recommended for beginners. So I hope you don't find it too frustrating to play, and of course I hope you have fun!
