Ehh, I enjoyed it?
I mean, the design is alright, but, as in the other games from the trilogy , the save balance is just nonsensical, with some saves being way harder than others for no particular reason.
Like in the third one,I'd also say the game drags on for a bit too much time, but not for too much (by the time i felt like the game was too long, I was already at like the third to last screen).
Other than that, the design itdelf, while in my opinion the weakest in the trilogy, was pretty fun

The 3 main screens are easy and poorly designed. The secret screens are altered versions (I say altered because they're not exactly buffed, they have more saves but they also have more corners) from other games (Sunspike, Crimson and Destination). Awful.

Incredibly fun game that I saw being blind raced at FGM 2016 and loved it then, and tried it myself and had even more fun. The stages are varied enough that they don't get tiring, and a couple of them diverge completely from a platform style into a completely different game. I would give it a 10, but I can't bring myself to enjoy the Dr. Robotnik boss due to how it plays out . A must play if you've had a few games under your belt.
