Wow, I haven't reviewed this yet? Huh.
I Wanna Sunspike is a relatively short game, consisting of 6 stages (unless you count both blue outline areas as one) and an avoidance boss, with every stage slowly amping up the difficulty. A beginner could definitely start this game, maybe make it to stage 3, but couldn't possibly beat the game without some previous fangame or precision platforming experience. Unless, you know, they're willing to grind for a few 10s of hours.
The visuals of the game start getting good in stage 4, with stage 6 being the best in the game (in my opinion).
Out of all the screens in the game, i only have a real problem with 2 of them, in which i will link here: http://imgur.com/a/dynvy - Those screens are arguably horrible, but for the rest of the platforming in the game, it's full of pretty generic needle jumps, but I find it very fun, to the point of speedrunning it. The difficulty curve is insane, as you will know once you've seen the first screen of the game, and then the last.
The music in this game is pretty good, I like just about every song and they all fit with their respective areas.
The avoidance boss is what really makes this game, being 3 minutes and 32 seconds long, it has a whole lot of production value. The song is absolutely AMAZING, and is probably my all-time favorite vocaloid song. Here's the link to it, btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkHgpKcX5FY - The boss is fairly easy for veteran players and can be cleared within a short timespan of a few hours. This boss took me 16 hours, about half of which was when i was still bad at fangames, the other half being when i was slightly less shit. The final attack is definitely the hardest attack in the boss, and it is really really cool looking. Well, it was cooler before people started making better versions of it, but still.
Anyway, with all that being said, it is one of my favorite fangames, and i would 100% recommend a full playthrough. (Then beat yoyo's any% wr kthx)

this game is what its called, its 1 gate jump there you have to jump a gate to the right, to the left, to the right, to the left... If you want to learn gate jumps and waste your time, then have fun.

This is a nice little 3 stage adventure / trap game. Each stage has a different look and a basic Pokemon style boss at the end of it. The game isn't really hard platforming wise, and the traps are above average. There are also some nice puzzle rooms later int he game that are pretty interesting. It has restarting music, but still a fun a little game.

An amazing needle game with production value that is off the charts. The visuals are really unlike anything in any other fangame, and it shows the maker really gave a shit and put some serious effort into this game. Aside from the flashy visuals, the platforming is actually good. It's not stupidly hard, and the pacing is well done. The save and death effects are insane. The only beef is that you can't press R unless your character is dead, which can be annoying at times when you know you missed a jump and want to respawn instantly. Highly recommend this game to any needle player.
