the last “20XX needle hole” game and the best one. most production value, best needle and the most screens. the now more often used addition of vines is quite welcome. they’re utilized in an interesting enough way but nothing super notable. visuals are very nice and I’d consider them the focal point of this game. not a lot else is otherwise notable, other than that the game doesn’t look like anything from 2011 and is now just sticking to a naming scheme. extra is the most uninspired extra in the series by far

more of the same from 2009 needle hole except longer and slightly more difficult. there are a few interesting new water jumps in this one, that’s about the largest difference. old, simple 32px needle with some water jumps and the rare vstring (or not). extra is more of the same

short needle game with a few screens that you can run through for a quick and enjoyable clear. not a lot of production value or anything is present but it’s fun enough for what it tries to be. I don’t know a lot about 2009-era needle games, so I thought the entire idea was to make vaguely ancient needle. it can feel that way, but it also doesn’t have to be. main reason being that the saves are balanced too well for it to feel old. extra is more of the same, except in a more precision-esque sort of style
