Rating based on collecting all the items in the game.
Yes, you read that right, the absolute mess that is TimeAttacker actually got a sequel somehow.
This is thankfully much better of a game though, being almost nothing like that one. This game sees you running around a giant map collecting items to increase your score. This game does share one thing in common with the first game though, that being the time limit. This time, though, you have 30 minutes to beat the game instead of 20, and touching a spike decreases your time and score instead of outright killing you, to balance out the items you collect which do the opposite. What sounds like a great idea in the same vein as I Wanna Be The Concept unfortunately doesn't quite reach that level of quality, due to a couple of flaws:
-First of all, the big one out of the way immediately: this game has a bunch of cryptic shit in it. This is to be expected from a Leehe creation, but there are just way too many collectibles hidden in walls. Some of these are worth a lot too, meaning you really don't want to miss them. -The first area's visuals are not very good, since the spikes are almost the same color as the background, leading to them blending in a little too well.
-There's one screen which basically comprises all the difficulty, as it's a long and winding path leading to an invert jump made of warps, which is super tedious to fail due to how long it takes to get there again. The reward is definitely worth it, but it's still really annoying to do the long path every time.
-Oh yeah, there's also a secret you just can't get without getting hit. It's hidden in the floor between 2 spikes, which means it's impossible to get a perfect score in this game. The reward is thankfully higher than the penalty for hitting the spike, but it's still bad that this was left in the game. This lack of testing is far from surprising though, given this game coming from everyone's favorite supposed university supercomputer user.
-Something else I forgot to mention, apparently the music system is built really weirdly such that music objects get eaten when you enter a room and don't come back later. This means that if you backtrack to a previous area, the wrong song plays. This is another minor thing, but it's still worth bringing up.
Luckily, the game gives you much more than enough time to explore the map, so collecting everything should be really easy if you can do the invert jump. I guess the game is fun if you already know where everything is, but I'd really only recommend you play this if you know that or just like exploring cryptic rooms.

I went in expecting some sort of randrandrand-like game, but instead this game is actually more about avoidance skill, with some sort of random attack you have to do platforming around! There are a lot of neat ideas and fun gimmicks, and the handful of pure platforming rooms are also good. Despite the attacks being simple, the platforming objectives and well handled randomness made them fun to play around. I really liked the green platform section, it was fun to figure out how to traverse it.

I love almost everything about this, the theming, visuals, even the death effect. Seems to be also inspired by Fez, which is another plus. But the only "bad" part of the game is the penultimate save in the end screen, why is it so long and why would you put a bunch of choke jumps at the end, the only corner in the game after everything that comes before in the save, just why? Some vine jumps are really tight too, but that's for pathing, so I didn't mind them that much.
Edit: Ignore the long save part, I just missed a save. So uh yeah, pay more attention.

A fairly easy short game that reminds me more of Thank You games.
The RNG in this game is quite fair; there aren't many rooms that are unfair due to randomness, which is pretty good.
I would even recommend this game to someone new who wants to play games based purely on RNG.
