For: I Wanna Save the Ship
Save the Ship is a really solid adventure game that feels comparable to the FM blind race games like Run the Marathon. I had a good bit of fun with it, and think this is definitely one that will stick around for quite a while.
The game is based around a main area that connects individual stages together, each of them themed around a different retro game that most players will probably recognize. This created a good bit of variety, and it's also done with a great difficulty smoothing that makes a solid increase as the game goes on. Each of the stages has its own unique feel to them, the platforming is pretty simple in all the stages except the final one so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for most players. The bosses are also neat, though I felt as if some had a bit too much health, and the one in the last reference stage is quite a difficulty spike compared to everything else.
There are also special props worth giving to this that not even the FM blind games normally have, and that's in regards to how this actually has a cohesive storyline that actually features voice narration from the lovely Echomask. I thought this was a neat touch, and the addition of all the Ship segments and the ending actually made this truly worth a "Story" tag due to how thoughtful the developers were in fleshing it out. I'll also point out that the visuals and music choices are pretty good as well, you can tell they really cared to put in the work. Even the title screen has more artistic vision put into it than most fangames.
Overall, I think adventure gamers are going to love this one. It's got the video game worlds, it has great platforming that isn't too difficult, it has fun bosses, and it actually has a plot you can understand. Well done makers!

The first two screens are a bit harder than the rest, which is 25 difficulty. The jumps are pretty fun, but the short length undercuts my enjoyment. I think the game should have been twice as long.

Pretty good introduction to precise jumps. Nothing frame-perfect, but tight enough to make the player pay attention.
