This is a hard game to rate, because the left warp is an 8/10 and the right warp is a 4/10. I'm taking the easy way out by just giving the average, but be warned.
The left warp is a cool line needle stage, it's great to see something like this in a beginner game. Easy recommendation for beginners. Right warp is kind of a mess unfortunately. It's confusing pathing, an unnecessary align indicator, and a screen full of awful fake block traps. I wouldn't recommend playing it.

For: I wanna 15 cooking methods of AnChun
Decent generic needle. The redeeming factor is the aesthetic, with a really cute player sprite. Stage 2 is the best, with open layouts that bring more creativity. Stage 3 is the worst kind of generic water needle, thankfully it's easy. Overall, it's a decent beginner game but there are much better options out there.

One of the best beginner needle games I've seen. Quell looks and sounds fantastic, oozing with retro production value. The jumps are a lot of fun, with good variety. They do a good job of introducing a lot of needle concepts for beginners. The one complaint is the ultra short legnth, with a rather abrupt ending.

Edit: I cleared the boss. My opinion has not changed except to bump the difficulty up.
1x1 is a really cute game with a super creative gimmick where the entire game is a single 32x32 area. The gimmick is super fun, and overshadows some poor implementation. However, it is worth noting that the physics are quite awkward, and the game is buggy, with it being easy to clip into walls. This impacts the experience on the last couple screens, but I still consider this worth playing up to the boss, as it's a super unique experience, and very short. I hope more people try fun experimental stuff like this.
However, the boss is kinda dumb. Don't play it.

The avoidance seemed a bit repetitive to me but it was surprisingly not that boring. RNG can be mean sometimes though. Would recommend to someone who wants to play RNG based avoidance.
