I wouldn't call it impossible.
In fact bit flipping is not a super rare thing to my knowledge, to the extent that sometimes airplane accidents are related to bit flip error (something like Qantas Flight 72 in 2008). While the main reasons of this error are high energy particles from cosmic rays, lowering voltages, and hardware problems like semiconductor's defects, it is also known that it can be caused by artificial radiation, or attacking the software. I think today's programmers usually apply algorithms that prevent bit flipping, but according to ChatGPT, GameMaker or GameMaker Studio does not have such algorithms. So if you know how to do it, I don't think it's impossible, but... there are much better things to do, you know.
I did like the idea so here's my 1.0 rating.
