EarRapeSpider is back to his old tricks. Its another steak game. Despite the readme saying its stake, not steak; its steak.
5 1f jumps and you're done. Free clear if you can 1 frame, absolutely disgusting if not. Difficulty value is arbitrarily slightly less than the original steak because its half as high.

One basically free screen of needle followed by an avoidance.
No production value at all (default blocks, 5 second ms paint boss sprite), avoidance song seems to be some sort of high pitched video game medley? Had some kirby parts anyway, not sure. Its about 4 minutes long with a couple tougher attacks early on followed by a lot of random 360. There's about 8 attacks total, which means each of them goes on for 30 seconds on average and they're all pretty standard attacks, so there's really nothing exciting at all. Felt like a don't choke fest and fortunately for me it was.

A one stage, multi screen vertical climb.
With the exception of one vine drop in the final save (in the top left), Most the needle was enjoyable and challenging enough to stay interesting. I was actually expecting it to be a bit easier seeing the ratings of the game but it didn't get boring.
Aesthetically, while the moody lighting and the song fit, I found it just kind of distracting after awhile. The music becomes droning pretty fast, and the whole darkness mechanic was just kinda bothersome for looking at jumps ahead of time. Would rather the screen be a little less dark or the actual spikes be just a tad brighter.
Still pretty good!
