This was a really nice balance of challenging and fun for me. There's some tricky jumps, but it never got to the point that I was grinding through saves. The difficulty remained pretty level throughout the game, occasionally with some screens much easier than others. There's good variety in the jumps, and it's enjoyable to play all the way through. The colors are a bit dark, but it looks nice and wasn't too disruptive. Would recommend if you're looking for some well made needle.

I played this for a very stupid reason, so you can put the blame on me entirely: it is one of the only three fangames you can rate at GameFAQs. It is meant to be played on the phone also, and that is where our problems begin.
The game has only four stages to be completed, each one representing earth, water, wind and fire respectively, and each one featuring painfully flat monochromatic designs, not counting the tutorial which you might think you don't need, but YOU DO and I will say why soon. Bosses are unpredictable in design, but also ugly.
Analyzing the screens you have to pass, by definition, they are of average difficulty at MOST. However, my difficulty rating is based on playing this on an Android phone (I hear that iPhone users actually have to PAY for this mess; buy bread for your family instead). 3-pixel movements and gate jumps are incredibly hard to do. You must make the slightest tap on the phone and sometimes it will read it as an even higher jump, making gate jumps hell. Now go to the fire stage, which the game describes as having "remarkable difficulty". To give an idea, that stage has a difficulty between 40-45 in normal standards, but in the phone, it is nearly impossible, even activating the infinite jump gimmick.
I have already stated the atrocious design, but level design is also extremely lazy and badly planned. Besides boring, whenever you make it past a screen, you must be very careful while changing screens because if you press right for too long, you will die by either falling or hitting a spike in the beginning of the next screen. It sounds dumb and easy but it is actually difficult because that is how your hands react on your phone by inertia due to the terrible controls. I wished a keyboard the entire time so badly.
Avoid. It is a terrible joke and you will be crying if you even dared to pay for this. The horrible English grammar does not help the cause either.

Glad to see more by KittyGame, as I enjoyed their first one quite a bit. The atmosphere of this game is great. Although the snow is a bit on the heavy side, I really liked the overall look of the stages, and the music fit very well with the visual theme.
The gameplay was somewhat of a mixed bag, though. The needle is moderately difficult, but some saves seemed way more challenging than others. There were some fun jumps throughout, but most screens were littered with diagonals for some reason, along with other common jumps. The invisible section was interesting. I didn't mind it, but it wasn't exactly fun either.
It's a decent needle game that I think could be improved with slightly less visual noise and more variety in the jumps.

Neat concept, bad execution.
K2 also took Dorrupi's screen from this game, which is funny since K3 featured Dorrupi's endurance boss.

The title doesn't lie. This is a simple game.
The game consists of two mini-stages and a easy avoidance boss at the end. The first stage consists of the original tile-set from the original game, but the second has clear blocks and a purple background. The transition between the first portal and the first needle screen was definitely a problem for me since it copied the fading code effect from K3, but that's only a minor complaint.
The needle in the game was rather fun in the second stage, but the first stage was boring because there wasn't that much challenge to it.
The endurance was the highlight of the game for me. What lacks in length, makes up for in enjoyment. It's not only great for new players, but it also has a variety of attacks as well.
I would recommend this game to a beginner who wants to get good at pattern-based endurance.

Well. It's been one year since I initially reviewed this game. This was when I was reasonably inexperienced with the game and I didn't have the experience to complete the game. To be precise, I didn't have enough ability to do the bubble jump on screen 5.
Well, I've now beaten it, and now I want to give my full opinion on it. Enjoy.
Music:
The music in this game is good. It's from SMG so I should've expected it to be good in the first place. However, it actually does fit into the setting well since it gives off a very casual and calm vibe to it. Overall, I think the song used was a good choice for the game.
Deco:
One thing I didn't mention in the original is how well made the effect is. It looks simple, but the effect that it has on the game, for better or for worse, is very noticeable. It actually reminds me of a snowfall, which wasn't what KittyGame was going for, but it still looks nice none-the-less. However, I still believe that it has the same problem with K3's Betty Area, as it's highly distracting and irritating at points. If a remake was made of this game, toning down the effects would be something that I would recommend being changed about the game.
Gameplay:
The gameplay at the time was very similar to KittyGame's first game, "I Wanna Play My First Fangame", or at least in my opinion. It used a lot of generic jumps but it did so in a unique way. I now realize that the gameplay in this game isn't really that good. There were a lot of jumps that were really infuriating and just dragged down the gameplay for me. Along with that, the invisible needle part was incredibly annoying and hard to do. I think the only game that managed to pull off that gimmick was Kale's "Thank Thenewgeezer", and that's really telling about the quality of the gimmick if only one game managed to make the gimmick fun.
Overall, I think the game is heavily flawed, but I still think even now that the game is at least worth a try if you're into calm needle. I would sorta recommend it, but I would recommend KittyGame's first game the most.
Original Review: I can't completely review this game because I didn't finish it, but what I can tell is that it suffers from "Betty Area" syndrome. Good needle screens ruined by detracting deco. I think KittyGame makes good needle screens, but the background ruined the experience for me. Also, the save deletion bug makes it even more irritating.
