Found this a lot nicer than the first one. Better save balancing as well.

Brilliant debut: this game features many jumps that demonstrate the creator's keen awareness for what actually elicits fun and satisfaction in players, such as default gimmicks mandating multiple uses, nice combination of horizontal input sequences, air vines with a previously done wallhug, decently intricate pathings, and so on.
I noticed occasional difficulty spikes that might bother some people but I personally found them to be negligible enough.
Would like to see more stuff from this creator.

For a first fangame, it's a very good start. The game itself is really fun!
Also I'm more than happy that I've motivated someone to make a game on their own, even when I'm just a random guy that likes playing needle games.
Would like to see more from this maker :3

I was a tester for this game.
This game very deliberately goes for an oldschool fangame aesthetic and I think it achieves this very well. It's very inspired by Symmetry and games like it.
Admittedly that's not really my cup of tea, this format of stages with the same tiles, all ending with a cherry boss and being around the same length and linear just makes for a somewhat predictable fangame which I find kinda uninteresting. It'd be very difficult to make a game that I truly enjoy in this style.
Despite this, there's a lot of positives. The needle is a lot more creative and polished than a lot of adventure games of this format. Each save feels more focused on one specific thing and avoids having a lot of filler, which makes for a pleasant platforming experience. I think Ava has some great ideas that I've not always been able to enjoy due to the difficulty, but this felt like a nice balance between interesting and learny bits and being forgiving enough to be able to consistently through saves without any major roadblocks.
The bosses are nice too. I remember some of them in Symmetry being kinda annoying, but here they felt like a decent break from the platforming while having some interesting movements. I feel this is about as good as you can make bosses with this format. The extra boss is cool and I liked it.
Secret hunting was also nice. Nothing felt overly hidden though I did struggle on finding one of the secrets. Some of them are a bit far into the stage so you'll have to redo some of it if you miss it, which is fine since most of the saves are learny so it won't take as long as the first time around.

Good chill needle, even tho the difficulty step at the end of stage 1 is quite noticeable
