im honestly kinda mixed about this game, but giving it like a 5 or 6 as i usually do for games i find mid i feel would be pretty mean for this game since theres a clear display of passion put into it and the dev clearly had fun making it
lemme start with the good, the fnaf sections are really fun! every time i finished one, no matter how frustrating it was during the grind process, i always found myself wanting more of it. the art is also pretty good (i wish i had like anything to say in particular about it but i dont sorry)
unfortunately i have my share of gripes with this game despite how captivated i was by it, though. the actual iwbtg segments are still pretty tough, so its less of an iwbtg themed fnaf fangame, and more of a typical iwbtg fangame with the added fnaf gimmick as a bonus. the needle in particular i found to be kinda annoying sometimes. all of the spikes are made to be half as tall as ones youd usually see, so a lot of 16px gaps in drops are pretty commonplace. the stages outside of the fnaf segment make use of a few gimmicks, such as sheep man blocks from mega man 10 or rapidly moving dust bunnies, but when actually playing them it felt like the game was just telling me "hey learn how to do this cycle and speedrun it for me and you only have like 1 restspot if im feeling nice kthxbye," so it eventually became pretty tiring for me. the blow game and "inspired by femboys 2" section in the cut content rush also felt annoying for this same reason. thankfully its not as bad in the fnaf segments, since having you do all these crazy gimmicks would just lead to a bunch of deaths causing some certain characters to attack you, but the rainbow trap screen in night 5 specifically gave me a lot of trouble at the end of the first save thanks to the drop segment.
the bosses were also occasionally annoying, but im willing to chalk *some* of that up to skill issue. the short crimson fight tho was pretty reliant on a gimmick that made you slippery when you jumped and you could control how you bounced by holding up or down or shooting. this gimmick doesnt show up anywhere else in the game, so i really dont see the boss couldnt have just been buffed in exchange for having normal kid physics. the final boss also felt pretty dependent on getting a good random combo of certain attack patterns. thankfully you get multiple hit points on EVERY boss, but for the final boss especially id just have no extra hits by the time the last phase came around, so id just end up dying as soon as it started.
probably the biggest letdown for me was night 7. with how happy i was with the defend the office gameplay, i was expecting it to be a typical everyone is here deal and everyones ai was generally harder than the previous nights. in a sense i was right about that last part, but the whole thing being a joke that lasts like 10 seconds was pretty disappointing. i was looking forward to it to, as eventually PD stops showing up in the nights so i thought hed come back one last time, and afaik theres no ACTUAL final challenge or custom night mode, so i cant even play a satisfying final night even if it wouldnt technically be canon
overall though, its charming, and if it wasnt so hard id love to recommend it to some non fangame friends. even for as frustrated as i was about some things, i still cant help but find it cool in retrospect

a very interesting idea and a fun time capsule of what the culture was surrounding the western fangame community. starts okay but occasionally gets annoying starting at stage 3 with bosses like ice man, wily mech, the avoidance players section, paragus, kale, terebichan (this one was the WORST imo), chair, and klazen. there are definitely some fun moments though, the final avoidance definitely being the best imo. overall a pretty solid game, but definitely shows its age from time to time, for better or for worse

pretty decent medley game with a pretty heavy focus on needle since most of the bosses are just purposely shitty ms paint doodle recreations of notable fangame bosses. its kinda easy to plow through the first 5 stages in one sitting since the needle until stage 6 is not really hard enough to warrant going through one stage at a time, especially considering the aforementioned "bosses". stage 4 was prolly my least favorite part of the game, like did the "gay tower" REALLY have the ONE screen they chose from dont gay and did it HAVE to take up the ENTIRE STAGE? biff himself was also kinda hard to sit through. after learning his attack patterns it really just comes down to hoping you roll a good needle screen without a modifier (which i have a hunch is not an intended possibility). aside from those this was pretty fun :)

started this with the intent of using it to get better with avoidance, and i think its helped me a decent bit in that area. i will admit tho, it is far from a perfect game. many times will the game just expect you to hop up on a platform or go to some area by creating a wall of cherries without any real prior warning, and many times did i have to consult videos from pyuw or fruitless (shoutout to them) just to find out how to counter some instagib or generally unpredictable shitass move some of the avoidances pull on you. grievances aside, the music is fun, the needle breaks inbetween groups of the avoidances is always refreshing as someone who prefers needle to avoidance, and its a fun way to have a look at hasi's history of avoidance making. despite my frustrations here and there i think ill look back fondly on my time with this game
altho one thing i will never understand is why hasi decided to letterbox the whole game (as in the smushed aspect ratio, if theres somehow an actual explanation for this id love to hear it)
