first game from daburyu and then this avoidance pops out. this avoidance is pretty fast paced with reasonable rng for the most part. when you play the game it's just fun to avoid each attack because of how they are made. you can definitely see the influence/help of lily in this boss which is nice too.

Great design overall and SourPls song, almost all RNG attacks are reasonable, its a very well known avoidance due to how consistent you can get once you cleared the game. Last attacks are definitely harder than all the previous attacks on the fight so it feels kinda bad when you die and die over on the last segment of the barrage.

Fun, fast paced rng heavy avoidance game.

For when this was made, it's an incredibly fun barrage with great pacing.
Negatives:
- Some attacks have nasty RNG, particuarly the second attack (blue orbs) and the final corridor, which can absolutely destroy you.
- The opening is slightly boring, but just about engaging enough that it didn't bother me.
- The stupid dice-roll screen-spinning attack. You get through it most of the time, but I had a sequence where it killed me 7 out of 8 times, so ...
Generally recommended to barrage enthusiasts, or people who want to improve at barrage.

This Avoidance holds a special place for me as this was the first standalone Avoidance I ever saw.
I picked somewhere in early 2024 when I was looking for a harder Avoidance to help hone my skill and I thought this would be a good pick as I enjoyed fast paced barrage. I only got around to beating this just now. Coming back to this post Soulless and it feels good to see that I have improved greatly at Avoidance in the time since picking this up.
RNG is unfortunately dated especially at the orbs giving you bruh moments but overall Tear it is a good classic to play.
