Very Long saves, difficulty balance was really bad. Lots of unique parts, a lot of which just felt awkward and bad to do. I feel like I would like this game way more if I was better and it took me less time than it did, but I was on just about every save for longer than I wanted to be. Also doing extra skips the final boss which was irritating.

I Felt a difficulty imbalance on some saves, but it's still a good fangame, I'm basing my rating on 100% clear too.

This game is really weird for me to review. I'm not really sure that I had fun with the game from stage 4 onwards, but at the same time, the music, atmosphere, bosses and general feel of the game pushed me forwards. The bosses were all amazing, if a little easy compared to the rest of the game. Looking at the needle from an objective point, I don't really think it has any real problems, its just that I am probably not the intended audience. Yet, at the same time, I did 100% the game including the secrets and extra stage, so something in the game must have hooked me. As such, I can't give this game a low review, and must say that while it's not for me, I can respect the game, I am just not sure that I will ever play it again.
