Overall this game is a mixed bag of okay stages and bad ones. A lot of the platforming design is pretty dated and i don't think the gimmicks were used all that well. I liked the iconic dark purple stage, but even then i like the concept more then the execution. The final stage has some weird difficulty spikes and rough room design. The final boss is really questionable. It's probably one of the worst ive played, even cheesing it was annoying.

one of carua's best games to date, yet it's still not so great. the gimmicks are alright and the needle is somewhat fun (except the super F's). the main problem with this game is the final boss, where any sane person would look up the cheese strat and do it that way. I am not one of those people, as I chose to painstakingly try to beat the boss without cheesing it. It took me just under 4 hours and a whole lot of luck.
the real question is - does every single carua game have to end with a luck-based bossfight?

There is an updated (March 2013) version of this game out there, it was on getuploader which is now corrupted but it can be found elsewhere

Another infamous old relict of an adventure fangame. So, needle stages were pretty whatever. Occasional good gimmicks and sometimes not good ones - quite mixed bag overall. Final stage has atrocious saves, and bring down enjoyment pretty low
Boss is where the game really fucks you, but it's also highlight of the game for sure. So i beat this boss without glitch and i can say... i have pretty good time with it, lol. Ok, of course this boss is not even remotely good, but what i try to say that this boss is kinda fun to mindlessly play. It's extremely unfair of course, but also requires patience and good reaction. Concept of it is pretty cool imo (i usually always into doppelgangers/other kids fight in fangames) and the execution is debatable, but special for sure. I can see you can think i'm delirious. However i also think why this boss is so alright to play, is the fact that average attempt is not very long, as well as not very short; and atmosphere itself is pretty engaging and energetic. Overall it was pretty fun to play with turned-off head and just enjoy the ride
